Casual meetup to play infinity, open to all of all skill levels. Comment and post on event to pre-book a game, or just stop by and say hi. If you are looking at starting and want to meet the community and see a game this is your chance. We can easily arrange a demo, but we request you ask in advance.
While this is a casual meetup, people should try and follow the schedule below. If we are in all in sync and do simultaneous starts, we have fewer people left out. It also lets people skip the first round and have an opportunity to join in the second round.
Recommended Schedule
12:30 pm - Show up, socialize & plan games
1:00 pm - Start first round
3:30 pm - Socialize & Plan second round
4:00 pm - Start second round
Those that want a third round can stick around, the store closes late.
We had a lot of new players in the first meetup, and we are encourage 150 point game for demos. But we ask that players move to 200 points after a game or 2. Advanced players find that 150 points requires that we leave out too much. But at 200 points we can still play more interesting models and still hit 10 models. 300 points is the norm.
For each meetup we select one scenario which is new player friend. It's recommended that players have a 200 & 300 point list ready. This is to simplify the experience for new players. Infinity has an issue that the learning curve is little steep. It's not mandatory that people play this scenario, but this lets new players read up on only a piece of the rules instead of being overwhelmed with everything.

The last meetup we had 12 players, with 2 Observers \ Social participants. One person came from Quebec city to play. A total of 12 games played, 5x150 & 7x300. 4 people stayed until 10pm.
