September 2026 is the 100th birthday of one of the most iconic figures in Jazz history, John Coltrane. To celebrate this monumental event, Vancouver saxophonist Ardeshir Poureramati has arranged some of Coltrane's most famous compositions for a 17 person string orchestra, and Jazz Quartet.
