Infidels Jazz Presents: Maktoub at Alliançe Francaise Theatre

Ahmed Maher is interenationally recognized as a world-class oudist & composer. His Maktoub project celebrates his Egyptian roots through compositions written in Arabic maqams, and emraces Ahmed's Canadian home by bringing modal melodies into a Jazz dialogue.

Maktoub is releasing their first album this spring, and will be celebrating this on June 06 with a special concert at the Alliance FrancaiseTheatre.
