Infidels Jazz Presents: Johanna Hauser at Zameen Art House

Johanna Hauser (Bass Clarinet) has been an integral part of Vancouver's improvising, New Music, and Classical scenes for decades, having performed with the Dance Theater of Harlem, Bel Canto Opera, the Brooklyn Philharmonia Chamber Orchestra, The Group for Contemporary Music, The Queens Symphony and The Queens Symphony Woodwind Quintet, and many other groups.

For this special New Thing performance, she will be joined by Matthew Ariaratnam (Guitar) & Nikko Whitworth (Bass).

The New Thing is a monthly series dedicated to free jazz and improvised music. It's presented by Infidels Jazz, with help from the VJO Society, and takes place at Zameen Art House once a month.
