Infidels Jazz Presents: Hejira's Brew at the American

Hejra’s Brew, led by Lisa Cay Miller, performs improvised and composed music that is inspired by the deep groves of the revolutionary Miles Davis album, Bitches Brew, and the songwriting poetic and Harmonic genius Of Joni Mitchell, especially the album Hejira. Performing for over 10 years in various incantations, this ensemble features some of vancouver‘s best improvisers.

This concert is part of Very Big Bands at the American, a monthly concert series focussing on the very best big band in the Vancouver area.
