About this Event

8 weeks, 1 tribe: INFERNO RUNNERS


This 8-week coached training block from the Singles Running Club and Stride & Structure is built for runners who are done guessing and ready to move with purpose.

Whether you're chasing a sub-30 5K or simply want to know what you're actually capable of — this program gives you the structure, the coaching, and the crew to find out.



Your INFERNO CREW:

Unleash a stronger, fitter & stronger stride in 8 weeks:

Eight weeks, one goal: a faster you on race day.
Each week builds deliberately — starting with controlled speed development to condition your legs to race pace, progressing through VO2 max work, muscular endurance, and the Norwegian Method, before sharpening into race strategy and taper.
You'll work on the details that matter: form, pace control, and knowing how to run smart instead of gassing out.
A tune-up race at week 6 puts it all to the test.
By week 8, you won't just be fitter — you'll race with intention.

Your INFERNO training plan:


12 Aug - Week 1:
Controlled Speed development - conditioning legs to race pace while maintaining easy milage

19 Aug - Week 2:
Speed, form and muscular endurance (Leonie Hill)

26 Aug - Week 3:
VO2 Max - working the lungs, keeping the legs (Norwegian Method)

2 Sept - Week 4
(4 weeks to Decathlon race)
Race pace practice

9 Sept - Week 5:
Form, race strategy, taper

16 Aug - Week 6:
Pace control. Precision > Gasing out

23 Aug - Week 7:
Norwegian Method progressed (or hills)

30 Aug - Week 8:
Practical guide to interval training


Mini-goals to look forward in each week which will help to sharpen the details that matter: cadence, posture and breathing. Essentially the mechanics that separate runners who plateau from runners who break through.



INFERNO milestones:
  • 13th Sept Sunday morning:
    A fun tune-up race to put your progress to the test! (More details to come!)
  • 27th Sept: Decathalon Kiprun 2026
  • 4th Dec: BYD Singapore Marathon

We meet weekly at SuperLoco (Robertson Quay), every Wednesday evening at 7pm, starting 12 Aug.

INFERNO Squad — $15/session · $120 for 8 sessions.
Train with the group with weekly coached session & training plan.

This is the foundation tier. You get the full 8-week progressive training plan, weekly coached in-person sessions, mini-goals across cadence, posture and breathing, contingency plans if you miss a session, group Q&A at sessions, tune-up and goal race support, and periodic content drops in the main INFERNO telegram chat.

The whole program + weekly Q&A and coaching tips

Everything in INFERNO Squad + exclusive Q&A & additional Coaching feedback channel via Telegram, where you can also submit your weekly questions post-session. Coach Josh will be picking 2 questions to answer along with additional coaching feedback for the group.


INNER INFERNO — $35/session · $280 for 8 sessions.

Closest thing to a personal coach in a group.

Everything in Squad+, plus light individualisation for each session, short personal notes on your training, and priority in the response queue. At the end of the training block, you'll also get priority slot for 1:1 coaching, at a exclusive price of $297 for 3 months — if you would like to continue the training with personalised programming and coaching.

Your coach: Joshua Kennedy

Founder, Stride & Structure


Josh Kennedy didn't come to running through the usual route — and that's exactly what makes him a different kind of coach.

A former competitive rugby player, Josh spent 18 years across Muay Thai, boxing, and Jiu-Jitsu, training alongside some of Asia's best fighters and coaches. He became obsessed with how the best in the world actually teach. That curiosity never left him.

Running came during COVID. He locked in fast, earning a Boston Qualifier in Singapore conditions before founding Stride & Structure — built to coach runners from first 5K to ultra-marathon, and more recently, HYROX athletes.

Josh's approach cuts through noise: hours studying the world's best coaches, filtered through his own athletic experience, delivered in a style that adapts to how you actually learn. Supportive, direct, or collaborative — he meets you where you are.

He recently led PRO Athletics Run Club to victory at the On Squad Competition. Structured, sharp, and genuinely fun to train with — Josh doesn't coach you to depend on him. He coaches you to understand why, and keep going long after the session ends.
