Infection, Immunity and How Vaccines Work
Joseph Giambrone is Professor Emeritus of Poultry Science at Auburn University, with a joint appointment in veterinary pathobiology, and holds a Ph.D. in medical microbiology from the University of Georgia. Over a career spanning more than four decades, he has conducted extensive research on infectious diseases, immunity, and vaccine development, contributing to advances in disease detection, surveillance, and prevention. Dr. Giambrone has published widely and is internationally recognized for his work in virology and vaccine strategies.
