Infection Control Regulations and Infection Preventionist Training

THIS IS A FIVE-HOUR COURSE THAT WILL ASSIST PARTICIPANTS IN LEARNING ABOUT TITLE 22 REGULATIONS IN CALIFORNIA ABOUT INFECTION CONTROL.

THIS COURSE SATISFIES TITLE 22 AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS FOR INFECTION PREVENTIONIST TRAINING, AND SHOULD BE TAKEN BY ALL STAFF IN THE AGENCY - INCLUDING DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS.

YOU WILL ALSO RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE FOR CLEANING AND DISINFECTING.

- Feel free to use our certificates to audit well, and to insert into your Infection Control Plan.

Recordings may NOT be shared with anyone other than fully paid, registered users.

- Complete the course evaluation using the link provided

- Certificates of participation will be sent out, using the legal first and last name of the registered participant, at the end of each month.

Ideal participants:

- CA professionals: ARF/GH/STRTP/RCFE Administrators; Registered Nurses; LPTs and LVNs; LPCC, LEP, LMFT and/or LCSW; direct support staff.

- Care providers, agency owners, and especially their direct supports are advised to take this course. This course is NOT ideal for one participant per agency. Rather, we encourage teams to attend so that everyone can work on each federal requirement as a team. We recommend offering this training to EVERY rank and role in the agency so that you can all move forward together.

- Those who have a dedicated device, and can participate without distraction or simultaneous duties.

- We have enabled group registrations for your convenience.

Approvals: We will send completed certificates out via EMAIL at the end of each calendar month. It is each user's responsibility to ensure that the names used on registration are legal first and last names and not nicknames, as this data will be used to generate certificates. It is not the responsibility of ECEUI to verify the accuracy, spelling or display of participant names when extracting registration data.

- Administrators in CA: These sessions are NOT currently approved for Administrator CEUs. We will keep you updated if they are accepted for approval in the future. Come for the learning, and enjoy yourselves regardless! You will, however, get a fancy certificate for yourself and any of your attending team members. This will be helpful to provide as part of your remediation plan.

This course meets requirements towards the CEU types below. Please read carefully for those that are still pending, as there is no guarantee of approval.

Registered Nurses (RNs) in California: Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN), Provider#CEP16912, for the number of contact hours shown above. Licensees must keep their certificates for four years from the date of completion.

LMFT, LCSW, LPCC and LEP (Board of Behavioral Sciences in CA): EssentialCEU Institute is approved provider #1131, by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), a [BBS] Board-recognized approval agency. Essential CEU Institute maintains responsibility for the program. This course meets the qualifications for ONE contact hour(s) of continuing education credit as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. BBS licensees must maintain records of course completion for at least two years from the date of license renewal for which the course is completed. Licensees are encouraged to contact BBS for specific approval information.
