Industry Visit to Puratos- May 1, 2024

Plant Tour of Puratos Manufacturing Plant in honor of Manufacturing month. They are hosting upto 20 students (grades 6-12). Event will include a brief tour of the Puratos HQ and Innovation Center, as well as a more in-depth tour of Puratos' state-of-the-art manufacturing plant. Total duration of event will be 2 hours. Participants must adhere to the clothing guidelines in order to join the plant tour.

Clothing guidelines:

• No open-toed/open-heeled shoes (safety “slip ons” will be provided to visitors)

• Long sleeved pants and shirts are mandatory

• Hairnets and beard nets (if applicable) will be provided and must be worn while in processing areas and warehouse areas of the facility

• No jewelry is allowed in the processing areas of the facility. This includes watches, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, tie tacks, cuff links and facial jewelry (nose, tongue, etc.). The only exceptions to this rule are a plain wedding band without any stones and medical alerts.

• Fingernail polish, false fingernails, false eyelashes, perfumes/cologne, and body glitters/jewels are prohibited.

• Baseball hats/caps are not to be worn at any time.

• **Lockers to hold belongings can be provided if needed**
