The primary goal of this workshop is to familiarize students with the industrial surroundings so they won't be as shocked or appalled when they enter the job sector and to introduce them to the practical approach to their academic study. It allows students to engage with highly qualified and experienced staff members while seeing and experiencing actual workstations, plants, systems, etc. Additionally, the students get knowledge of the types of equipment used in the manufacturing industry.

So join us and be the part of this industrial lab visit, where students will overtake the lab at Ulterior Engineering Institute which is one of the largest engineering industries in Bangladesh, and will educate themselves for the upcoming academic life in the field of industry.
Workshop objectives: To develop basic technical knowledge and industrial skill related program on Industrial Automation Sector and understanding of industrial instrumentation and power system field. Participants will be able to recognize industrial instrument, PLC programs VFD related with project and get the career guideline in automation and power industries.
Workshop Contents: Introduction to Advanced automation, PLC and Control system; Architecture and Functional description of Advanced PLC and Operator station (OS) and how learn them; Programming languages types and technique; Interface devices and software; Familiarization with PC based system, operator station and SCADA software; Roadmap to Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting PLC.

This event is totally free & open for the students of Department of EEE, Stamford University Bangladesh only. Note that All the students of batches EEE (72A+73A to 79 A) are instructed to be present there accordingly. Attendance will be counted as marks of attendance and performance of summer 2024. Presence of every student is mandatory. There will be transportation facilities for the students from Campus to ULTERIOR ENGINEERING INTL.
