Session 7 is upon us. This Sunday 1/5 will be week 1. Check in at 11:30, start at 12. It will be held at The Elks Lodge on Colfax and Newland(1455 Newland St Lakewood CO 80214). The lodge has a bar for your thirst, TV’s to watch the football games, pinball machine, shuffle board table, dart boards, and Pickles(pull tabs).
I have been asked by many “when are you running IPL again?” Well here is your answer. The time is NOW!
We will be doing our traditional 6 week League With a second and potentially a third season to follow. Don’t worry if you can’t make all 6 weeks. Only Top 4 Scores will count towards your IPL league standings. Check in will start at 11:30am and start around Noon. That way we should be able to get everyone home for dinner.
Here is how the IPL will work. $10 will get you into the league and points will be tracked for your league standings. $5 each week will go to The Elks Lodge for hosting. And $5 each week for cash payout. So your first week will be a total of $20 if you want in for everything. $10 if you just want to be apart of the cash payout and $5 if you just want to come putt for fun. There will also be a $2 Perfect Putt Pot like an ACE Pool. Make all 10 putts and take home the pot.
It will be a head to head, randomly generated double loss elimination bracket. The winner of the loser bracket will have a chance to take down the winner of the winners bracket. But must win TWICE in order to do so. Whereas the winner of the winners bracket only has to win once. Oh yeah, and the bracket will be LIVE so everyone will be able to follow your favorite players and see how they are doing and who their next match up is.
Layout will be 15’-20’-30’-35’-40’. 2 putts from each of the 5 stations. Each player will alternate who goes first from each station. Disc flip will determine choice of who goes first from the first station and alternating first person to putt at each station afterwards. There will be bonus points for the first putt at each station.
15’- 20 points for 1st putt, 15 points for 2nd putt
20’- 25 points for 1st putt, 20 points for 2nd putt
30’- 40 points for 1st putt, 30 points for 2nd putt
35’- 45 points for 1st putt, 35 points for second putt
40’- 50 points for first putt, 40 points for second putt
Maximum total Score of 320 points if you go perfect.
