Indivisible Bellingham’s next All Hands Meeting will feature a presentation by, and discussion with, Dr. Greg Baker, Superintendent of Bellingham Public Schools. Time will be spent on the budgetary crisis faced by Bellingham public school this year and next, and how it will impact students, families, staff, and our community. There will also be a focus on how to serve marginalized student groups (gay, trans, refugee/immigrant, homeless, non-English speaking, etc.) when there are increased calls to not serve, or to minimize service to, groups. How will Trump’s ‘round ups’ impact vulnerable children.
