The Indigo Hour is how the Blue Room does happy hour: live music on the bandstand starting at five-thirty, the week left at the door. This week, vocalist Jenna Bauer brings friends.
Bauer is a jazz singer who splits her time between Kansas City and St. Louis, with a fiery, warm voice and a love of the Great American Songbook — the standards reimagined as stories anyone can relate to. She's a fixture in KC rooms from Johnnie's Jazz Bar to the Raphael Hotel, leading her own duos, trios, and quartets. Friday she eases the weekend in.
Come early, grab a drink, and settle in. Free admission — seats fill up.
