Indigenous Storytelling & Fundraising

Join us for the evening of indigenous storytelling, sharing, and fundraising at @himmapanpdx with @redstoneproductionspdx @mixtartt @yem_ruiz @aj.og. We are excited to have your presence here. We will start the evening with a community potluck where everyone brings leftovers, shares a warm meal, and sits together in a spirit of connection.

This event is an invitation to connect us with the land, to honor Native and Indigenous perspectives about this time of year, and to open a safe space for stories, truth-telling, reflection, and healing. It’s a moment to slow down, be in community, and remember what this season means beyond the holiday narrative.

We are also coming together to support Himmapan itself — a community-rooted, BIPOC-centered wellness space that has held ceremonies, healing practices, and cultural events for so many of us. As part of the potluck, we’ll be raising funds to help Himmapan continue offering accessible programming, maintaining a sanctuary where people of color can gather, heal, and feel belonging.

The atmosphere will be warm, welcoming, and real - a place to breathe, to share, to listen, and to strengthen our relationship with each other and with the land.
