About this Event

Native Women Running (NWR) is hosting this year's Indigenous Peoples' Day Phoenix Fest 1k walk and 5k run in Downtown Phoenix, Arizona. Join us for the Indigenous Peoples’ Day 1K Walk and 5K Run, an event rooted in the rich cultural traditions of Native American communities. Running holds deep significance, symbolizing a celebration of life, strength through prayer, and a powerful source of healing. This event is an opportunity to participate in the time-honored tradition of running, which acts as a guide and a source of healing for the spirit.

Open to all ages, this family-friendly event has limited spaces. Pre-registration is required; secure your spot today and join us to walk, run, and celebrate the resilience and vitality of Indigenous cultures.

NWR is a non-profit whose mission is to build and nurture a community that features and encourages Native women runners on and off the reservation. They strive to increase the visibility of historically excluded runners in the running world nationwide and worldwide.
