Purpose. Relationships. Vision.

The Indigenous Partnerships Success Showcase is back on June 1 and 2, 2023 at the Vancouver Convention Centre.

The gathering is held on the traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and Sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.

Our Mission

Moving towards reconciliation requires a clearly articulated destination: one where everyone can see themselves included. The mission of the Indigenous Partnerships Success Showcase is to cultivate a shared sense of purpose and direction.

By highlighting the relationships that underpin economic reconciliation, we enable participants and society at large to build towards an inclusive vision for what reconciliation looks like into the rest of the 21st century.

"It’s a movement for change. More Canadians than ever see themselves in this, whether they are Indigenous themselves or of any background. This conversation is meant to be deeply inclusive, and we welcome everyone.
With a larger venue at our next gathering, we will be able to delve into even more partnerships that have worked, spending more time exploring the obstacles that needed to be overcome and what all parties needed to learn from each other. Through this, we hope to foster the next wave of relationships and mutual opportunity in Canada, from coast to coast.”
— IPSS 2023 Chair Chief Ian Campbell (Squamish Nation)

Early bird pricing (15% off the base price) is available until 4:00 PM Pacific on January 16, 2023. Please note that access to the dinner on Thursday, June 2, 2023 is separately ticketed.

About the Event

While formatted like a traditional business conference, with presentations and panel discussions, the underlying spirit of IPSS is about encouraging open and forthright conversations and storytelling, deeply rooted in authentic culture and practices.

Business and Indigenous leaders attend to share their experiences, and to learn from and be inspired by the work done by others.

Topics in 2022 included transportation, real estate development, technology & telecommunications, energy, forestry, mining, fisheries, food production, finance and education. 2023 will continue to take a broad cross-sectoral view with increased participation opportunities via breakout rooms, open discussions and audience Q&A.

We are carefully designing the event space, itinerary and speakers' roster to cultivate a sense of openness and inclusion, to enable meaningful conversations across sectors and to advance a deeper understanding of groundbreaking ideas about reconciliation.

Why should I attend?

Attendees will hear from leading voices, while being immersed in Indigenous cultures through music, visual art and performance. In addition to the main stage and breakout rooms, attendees will be able to tune into the live stream from across the venue, while enjoying booths, networking spaces and bookable meeting rooms.

Conference tickets include breakfast, lunch and morning/afternoon coffee breaks on both days of the conference, as well as access to the virtual platform.

Due to capacity limits, conference attendees must register for each additional event to receive complimentary access to the receptions and late night activities off-site by adding them to the order. Preferences can be changed by editing the ticketing form at any time.

Help us spread the word.

We're doing this differently, from providing complimentary access to the live stream for all, to featuring a full cultural program that challenges the conventional model for a business conference. We'd love your help getting the word out about IPSS 2023. Follow us on Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn, and be sure to share our posts. Subscribe to our newsletter. Send this registration link to your friends, colleagues and neighbours.

And don't hesitate to get in touch with us by email if you have any questions, suggestions or would like to discuss partnership: [email protected].

Purchasing more than one ticket?

We've tried to make ticketing for groups as pain-free as possible. Below are directions for ordering tickets for as-of-yet unknown individuals. Please note that Eventbrite enables each attendee's information to be copied to others on the order, simplifying the ticketing process for multiple registrations
  1. Enter the company/organization name in the first name field.
  2. Sequentially number the unconfirmed attendees in the last name field. Ex: #1, #2, #3, etc.
  3. Enter the email of the person who is managing the ticket so they may access it for later edits.
  4. Please provide final names no later than Friday, May 26, 2023 at 4:00 pm Pacific.
  5. Follow the link "Go to My Tickets" link (large orange button) in the email with the subject line "Your Tickets for Indigenous Partnerships Success Showcase 2023," and edit the attendee details. Please ensure that "Send confirmation email to new attendee," has been ticked so that the person attending receives their ticket.
  6. Edit any complimentary add-ons or dinner registrations accordingly to ensure that names, emails, and company names are identical.

Complimentary add-ons for conference attendees, such as for receptions or late night off-site activities (while quantities last), must be added during registration in the correct number with the correct name for each, so that the badge reflects all additional tickets. If editing the name for a conference pass, and add-ons have been selected, please ensure that the same attendee name is displayed for the add-ons as well. Likewise, if purchasing a dinner ticket (separate order form), please ensure that the name, email, and company names are identical between tickets.

Refunds

We will provide full refunds when requested in cases of extenuating personal circumstances. All other cancellations will be eligible for a refund minus a $50 handling fee per ticket until Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 4:00 pm. Any cancellations after this time will not be eligible for a refund.
