Gladwyn Badger
Gladwyn Badger is an Indigenous instrumental surf-inspired musician and artist whose music is fuelled by reverb-driven guitars with a gritty, cinematic edge. Often compared to the mood of Pulp Fiction, his sound moves beyond traditional surf into something he calls Rez-Rok.
His debut EP Renegade climbed the Indigenous Music Countdown and peaked at #2—an uncommon milestone for instrumental surf music. Gladwyn’s latest single, “Rack ’Em Up,” builds on that momentum with a tighter, punchier, rock-forward sound shaped by film noir influences. With new music on the way and a growing live presence, Gladwyn is building on the success of his past work while continuing to expand his sound.
Graeme Jonez
Graeme Jonez is an Anishinaabe indie roots-rock artist & songwriter. A storyteller at heart, Jonez's Indigenous culture and traditional folk influences are what shape his unique musical style.
Jonez reached #1 on the Indigenous Music Countdown in 2024 with his hit single, “The Flood!”
He kicked off 2025 by releasing “Ride Or Die” and “Nebraska,” the first singles off his upcoming 2025 sophomore album. Jonez is a Downie Wenjack Fund Artist Ambassador, a member of the Verified Indigenous Performer (VIP) program and an alumni of Manitoba Music's Indigenous Music Residency. Jonez is a member of the Sheguiandah First Nation on Manitoulin Island.
