About this Event

The London Horror Society has been dedicated to supporting grassroots horror cinema for over 7 years, and we're so proud to have well over 1,300 committed horror fans and filmmakers in our ranks.

We have launched the Indie Film Showcase to do what we love best -- bringing incredible short genre films from hugely talented filmmakers, to the wonderful UK horror community. And back in March we hosted our biggest ever night of short films in London, showcasing a superb range of projects from all over the globe.

But we think that celebrating grass roots horror shouldn't be limited to the capital -- that's why we're heading out on tour with our fabulous line up! And our first stop will be the glorious city of Manchester.

So join us at the 53Two theatre on Watson Street for a night of fun, meeting new friends, networking, and of course -- over 2 solid hours of incredible short horror films.

(Please note: standard LHS Members can get 50% off tickets, and Pro members get them for free. Please see our member hub for the codes!)

Our full line up includes:

665

Spain, Dir: Juan De Dios Garduño

Two antagonistic forces fight over a woman’s unborn child. On the result depends our salvation.

All You Can Eat

UK, Dir: Kieran Reed

A young waitress at a fast food diner has a bad feeling about things going on behind the chrome and neon facade of the diner. She finally believes she has the proof she needs to bring this secret to light, but unseen evil forces are unleashed in a blood thirsty attempt to stop her.

Amdusias

UK, Dir: Rubel Rafael Ahmed

After being sent a strange song, an unsuspecting woman is terrorized by Amdusias, a demon that gets more and more violent the longer the song plays.

Arm

UK, Dir: Jill Worsley

After the break-up of her relationship, Katharine Markwick finds herself alone and miserable in the middle of the pandemic. Locked down in a one bedroom flat, the madness of isolation starts to take hold, until she orders herself a companion – a one-armed boyfriend pillow.

Bin Man

UK, Dir: Jack Berry

When a lazy student refuses to recycle, it literally comes back to haunt him.

Dispensary Of Death

Ireland, Dir: Simon O’Neill

Kevin is having a bad day. He’s been bitten by one of those strange, shuffling creatures that suddenly seem to be everywhere. Perhaps the friendly people at his local Ph*rm*cy can help?

Last Orders

UK, Dir: Jon James Smith

A pub landlord with a dark past gets an unsettling visit one evening.

Posted No Hunting

US, Dir: Alisa Stern

When a trail cam captures a frightening encounter in the woods, the scariest part is what you don’t see. Posted No Hunting is a new twist on the found footage horror film – it’s told through stop motion animation and stars puppets made of wool, rubber, and clay.

Stained

UK, Dir: Mark A. C. Brown

Meet Harris: A man for whom cleanliness is next to Godliness and perfection is the only standard. So finding he has run out of toilet paper after ‘making a delivery to the brown post office’ is a full scale disaster. However, not even he could have assumed the relentless darkness this would release. A darkness that may consume him absolutely.

The Kiss

UK, Dir: Rob Ulitski

A young woman’s mind runs wild at the thought of intimacy after lockdown, with grisly consequences.

The Nicky Nack

UK, Dir: Tom Oxenham

A man walking home from the pub one night is tormented by a terrifying sound: The Nicky Nack.

Voodoo In My Heart

UK, Dir: Elias Williams

Emily’s boyfriend has turned into a zombie overnight. She has successfully tied him to the bed frame with a phone charger, but not before he was able to bite her. With nothing to aid her other than a phone and a musical keyboard, a weak and tired Emily must figure out how to prevent herself becoming a zombie before it’s too late.

...and perhaps even more films besides!

We very much hope to see you there, and of course, long live indie horror!
