Indiana Geriatrics Society Annual Spring Dinner Meeting

Sarah Hopper, JD - Professor of Practice and Executive Director of the UCSF/UC Law SF Consortium on Law, Science & Health Policy. Hopper will present about a new public website, PlanforClarity.org, and the “Clarity for Professionals” website, which provides free ongoing learning for health care providers.

Christine Stolle, JD - Attorney at Dillman-Owen Estate and Elder Law Firm. Tolle will present an update on the Indiana law and processes for obtaining a POA for financial and/or health care issues of older adults.

Erin Ray, MD - Geriatrician at Community Health System. Dr. Ray will present on the assessment and processes for determining the cognitive capacity of an older adult and discuss what this means for their future care and decisions.
