Indiana Birding: Fall Virtual Crash Course

Join Indiana Audubon Society (IAS) for a special two-hour online workshop on birding. Explore the wonders of birding as fall migration unfolds across the state. This workshop is tailored for both novice birders and general nature enthusiasts, offering an introductory overview of various birding topics.

IAS Communications and Outreach Manager Whitney Yoerger will lead this workshop, featuring a jam packed schedule, looking at all things birding, such as:

• Ornithology History
• Parts of a Bird
• Bird-Watching in Indiana
• Bird Banding and Citizen Science
• Using Binoculars and Field Guides
• Finding Birds
• Identifying the Common Species In Indiana

Registration is required and limited to 25 participants. Tickets are $10 for Indiana Audubon members and $20 for non-members. Upon registration, you'll receive a confirmation email with a Zoom link for the live workshop, plus additional reminders via email.

The Zoom event platform is accessible on desktop and mobile devices, with live transcription capabilities. A recording of the event will also be available, providing flexibility for those who cannot attend live.
