INDIAN Rajasthani dance workshop
In the dance workshop we get acquainted with the variety of traditional Rajasthani dance motifs (Ghoomar, Kalbeliya, rural dances: Matki). We coordinate the pulsating movements of the head, hands, hips with the rhythmic steps of the feet. Through the rotations, we experience the ancient, ecstatic power of dance. It's a virtual journey into the magical dance and music world of Rajasthan!/

/Gipsy dance workshop
We can get a glimpse of Hungarian and Romanian gypsy dances (from Transylvania and Moldva), for some basic dance steps and hand postures. We can get acquainted with the elements of the Romanian "Mahala" dance.

About Judit Abraham
Judit Abraham is a versatile artist. In addition to Hungarian folk music and dance, she performes and teaches Indian dance and music. She has been engaged in Indian dance and music since 2000. Since 2009 he has been regularly visiting India and Rajasthan to collect, study and perform. Since 2010 she has been leading a Rajasthani dance course and dance ensemble under the name Mátki Dance Group. He often invites Indian performers from Rajasthan to Hungary, with whom she holds workshops and performances in Hungary and other European countries: Austria, France, Spain, Portugal.
She started her artistic career with Hungarian folk music and folk dance, as part of which she also got acquainted with gypsy dances. She studied these elements in original Roma communities.
