Meera Venkatesan, an award-winning performance storyteller from Bangalore, is visiting New York for October and joining us for a special morning storytime.
She’ll introduce kids to Indian folk tales from Navarathri, India’s nine-night festival, in an interactive hour of stories, voices and audience participation. Meera is a member of the Katha Krafters creative team, has performed at storytelling festivals in India and abroad, and designs theme-based sessions that make learning fun for children.
Saturday, October 17, 9:30–10:30am. Best for kids and the grown-ups who bring them.
