In India there are 22 official languages, all with a different script, system of rules and subtleties. Furthermore, each of these languages entail different local dialects – which adds up to a total number of around 2.000 Indian languages. With our Indian Story Time, we want to create a space to hear a few of them – and encourage you to bring a few more!
Come by and discover a variety of Indian children’s books, hear their stories and poetry while having fun singing and making crafts! Together we will enjoy a little Pop-Up Book Fair and of course some Indian food. Together, young and old, we will celebrate the universal joy of reading and coming together – in as many languages as we can!
