Independence Young Matrons: Holly & Mistletoe Homes Tour

Get into the Christmas spirit by attending the IYM's 63rd Holly and Mistletoe Tour. Two of the houses, located close to the square in Independence, date to the 1830s. The other two houses are located in Golden acres, the first planned subdivision in Independence. One house was built in 1936, while the other house was constructed in 1951.

All funds raised will support IYM's community grant and scholarship initiatives, including non-profit organization such as Meals-on-Wheels, Mother's Refuge, Independence chool District, and Community Services League. Throughout IYM's 79 year history, more than $760,000 in grants, scholarships and special projects have been provided to the Jackson county community.
