3:30 pm: EQAT action at PECO/Exelon, 2301 Market St., 20% Solar by 2025!
From June 20 – 28 grandparents and others are walking and riding from Scranton to Wilmington, calling upon the Biden administration to seriously address the climate emergency and environmental injustices. We need a rapid, uncompromising transition away from the extraction and burning of toxic fossil fuels while embracing renewable energy, especially solar and wind power.
Walkers are standing with local people whose air, water, and land are being poisoned by oil and gas pollution and whose health is suffering. We are demanding that Chase Bank stop its massive funding of fossil fuel companies. We say: keep fossil fuels in the ground to prevent the escalation of destructive weather events for the sake of future generations and all life on earth.
