After the fireworks and festivities, give your nervous system somewhere to land.

Holiday weekends are beautiful—but they're also full. Full of stimulation, travel, socializing, late nights, and constant movement. Before Monday arrives, gift yourself an hour to slow down, breathe, and reset.

Join international yoga teacher and certified sound practitioner Megan J. Hoeffner, M.S., ERYT-500, for a deeply restorative sound experience designed to help your body shift out of "go mode" and into a state of rest and regulation.

Using crystal singing bowls, chimes, and other therapeutic instruments, you'll be guided through a gentle sound journey that invites stillness, supports relaxation, and offers space to reconnect with yourself after a busy holiday weekend.

Meet Your Guide

Originally from Maryland's Eastern Shore and the Ocean City area, Megan Hoeffner, M.S., ERYT-500, YACEP, is a yoga teacher trainer, certified sound practitioner, and founder of The Embodied Warrior School of Yoga + Sound. A new mom and recent transplant to Alexandria, Megan has spent the last decade traveling internationally, leading retreats and trainings across Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Mexico, Bali, Kenya, Sri Lanka, and beyond.

With a Master's degree in Exercise Science and a background that spans personal training, kinesiology, classical ballet, yoga, and sound healing, Megan's approach bridges science and soul. Her work is rooted in nervous system education, embodiment, trauma-awareness, and creating experiences that are both deeply restorative and refreshingly grounded.

Known for her warm, down-to-earth teaching style, Megan believes healing doesn't have to be complicated or performative. Whether she's guiding a room of 100 or sharing quiet moments with a handful of students, she creates spaces where people can soften, reconnect, and remember themselves.

When she's not teaching, you'll find her exploring Alexandria with her daughter Bella, sipping coffee, or dreaming up the next adventure for her global community.

Her invitation is simple: you don't need to fix yourself. You just need a place to land.

Is This For You?

This experience is for you if…

✨ You've spent the holiday weekend taking care of everyone else and are craving an hour to simply receive.

✨ You feel overstimulated, mentally busy, or like your body hasn't quite caught up with your mind.

✨ You love yoga, meditation, massage, or wellness practices and are curious about sound healing in a grounded, approachable way.

✨ You want to slow down, reconnect, and begin the week feeling more centered and restored.

✨ You're navigating a season of transition, motherhood, stress, burnout, or simply carrying a lot—and could use a place to exhale.

✨ You don't need experience. You don't need to know how to meditate. You don't need to "do it right."

Just come as you are.

Whether you're completely new to sound baths or returning to a practice that helps you feel more like yourself, this hour is an invitation to pause, breathe, and give your nervous system somewhere to land.

You don't need to fix yourself. You don't need to perform relaxation. You just need a place to land.

We'll take care of the rest.
