Independence Day Parade with Valley Church

It is the 250th Anniversary of the United States. Represent Valley Church and love our community by participating and walking in the West Des Moines 3rd of July Parade!
WHEN: Friday, July 3rd
TIME: 4:30pm Decorating, 5:15 pm we will begin lining up. Parade starts 6:30 pm
***Please know you are welcome to meet us in the line-up at 6:00 pm especially if you have a family to avoid the wait time.
Location: Valley High School, 3650 Woodland Ave, West Des Moines, IA 50266
Best parking is at the Valley High School East parking lot.

Attire: ***Wear good walking shoes and get ready to get in your steps. We want to mix and mingle with the crowd as we hand out giveaways. Please wear your Aqua or Purple Love You Des Moines t-shirts.

5:15 pm: Parade Line-Up Begins
6:30 pm: Parade Starts
2026 Parade Route: Starts at Valley West Drive and Ashworth Road heading east. Turns south on Vine Street to 4th Street, continuing south to conclude at Maple Street in Valley Junction.
