Celebrate Mexican Independence inside the Barrel Room at Hotel Paso Del Norte, an intimate space designed for elevated tasting experiences. This exclusive omakase is limited to 14 guests, creating a close‑knit environment for deep agave exploration.

Sommelier Antonio leads the evening, guiding guests through a curated four‑expression tequila progression. Each pour is arranged to highlight the natural evolution of agave; from bright minerality and crisp citrus into deeper notes of roasted agave, spice, oak warmth, and long‑aged complexity. Antonio brings heritage storytelling, regional context, and an easygoing, interactive style that makes the tasting both educational and fun.

Every tequila is paired with a bite inspired by modern Mexican cuisine. All food is crafted by Executive Chef Andrés Padilla, a Michelin‑recognized chef honored by the James Beard Foundation. Chef Padilla blends refined technique with bold Southwestern creativity, resulting in pairings that feel familiar yet elevated.
