This will be the most relaxing workshop you've ever attended! Join us for an engaging workshop on 'Increasing Job Satisfaction: Leveraging Recognition and Meaning'. In this workshop we will identify what contributes to job satisfaction within our organizational settings and signs of overwhelm in ourselves and team members. Through interactive discussions, activities, and case studies, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how transformational leadership strategies impact an organization's decision-making, communication, and collaboration as well as the overall health and wellness of employees. By the end of the session, participants will leave with actionable steps to help create a culture that invests in recognition, meaning and buy-in.
Identifying Attributes that Contribute to Toxic Culture:
- Define "The Toxic Five Culture Attributes"
- Discuss personal experiences with worplace toxicity
- Recognize the problems associated with The Toxic Five Culture Attributes for the organization and employees satisfaction at work and over all health and wellness
- Explore the psychological, social and physical effects of toxic culture on absenteeism and resignation rates
Explore Components of Job Satisfaction:
- Learn quick and easy ways to improve focus, calm and presence
- Examine how transformational leadership and job satisfaction principles align
- Engage in transformational leadership activities, such as leading by example, building trust/buy-in and celebrating contributions
- Explore examples of organizations or communities that successfully use transformational leadership practices to create healthy workplace habits
Develop and Implement Strategies to Improve Job Satisfaction:
- Demonstrate strategies for extinguishing toxic workplace practices
- Create a plan to impliment practical mental health strategies into your daily calendar
- Calendar in opportunities to practice and model transformational leadership principals
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Leah Stuart, MA is an experienced transformational leadership consultant, community advocate, and facilitator, who is known for developing, motivating and leading diverse teams to create cultures of inclusion and wellbeing. She has extensive experience working with executive leadership and supporting the development and implementation of their strategic vision for their organizations for nonprofits and other public sector organizations. Leah has her Master's degree in Leadership and Management Studies, and is a certified The Leadership Challenge facilitator. She is uniquely equipped to curate the best ideas in organizational development and translate them into easy, actionable startegies.
