De Engelse band Incognito staat al ruim veertig jaar garant voor soepel swingende, ingenieus gecomponeerde acidjazz. De continu wisselende formatie met bandleider Jean-Paul ‘Bluey’ Maunick als enig vast lid bracht in 1981 haar debuutalbum uit, het grote succes kwam in de nineties met de hits Always There, Don’t You Worry ‘Bout A Thing en Still A Friend Of Mine. In 2023 verscheen Incognito’s negentiende album Into You, waarop Bluey samenwerkt met jonge talenten uit de Londense jazzscene. Het verslavend lekkere titelnummer laat horen dat Incognito nog net zo smooth en uplifting is als altijd!
