Join us for an evening of conversation, curiosity, and collective learning. This book club welcomes readers of all backgrounds who want to explore diverse perspectives and deepen their understanding of today’s social and political landscape. Together, we’ll read works that challenge, illuminate, and empower—books that help us better understand one another and the world we share.

Book Club Host's Bio
Sarah Anderson is a fifth-generation Oshkosh resident with deep roots in the community. She has worked at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh since 1999 (minus a ten-year maternity leave) and has served as Bursar since 2022. Beyond her work at UWO, Sarah has been actively involved in the local arts community, singing with area choirs and serving as president of the Oshkosh Choraliers for more than a decade. Through her leadership and community involvement, she enjoys bringing people together and creating welcoming spaces for connection.
As she enters a new chapter in life with her son beginning college this fall at UWO, Sarah is excited to become more involved in the continued growth of the Main Street corridor and the Oshkosh community. Her reading interests are wonderfully eclectic, ranging from current events and celebrity memoirs to local history and women’s history, and she looks forward to connecting with fellow readers and discovering new stories.
