About this Event
The 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) serve as the blueprint for an inclusive, sustainable, and resilient recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. During the Decade of Action, we must urgently foster greater international cooperation in order to find lasting solutions to global crises. In particular, more inclusive partnerships are essential for ensuring a successful developmental agenda.
Taiwan is a trustworthy and constructive partner in the implementation of the SDGs, and it has been working with partner countries to achieve success in a variety of areas. In this seminar, Taiwan’s second Voluntary National Review (VNR) will be presented. This VNR examines the progress made in implementing the 2030 Agenda in the time since the first VNR’s release in 2017 and an additional report that was published in 2018. Practices and lessons learned from Taiwan’s partnerships will also be discussed to provide insights and accelerate the fulfillment of the SDGs.
