Inclusive AI Talent Fair

The Hyperion Lab is partnering with Women in AI and The Extra Mile to organize a talent fair for tech candidates with an emphasis on enhancing inclusivity and diversity in the sector. The Inclusive AI Talent Fair connects hiring tech companies to diverse and under-represented talent. During the evening, companies will pitch themselves and their open roles, then meet and network with interested candidates to discuss potential career and job opportunities.

One of our missions at the Hyperion Lab is to promote inclusive and responsible AI in the Netherlands. We believe that this starts with a diverse team, whose voices can equally shape the development of products and technologies that are central to a company's strategy and goals. Starting with a diverse team ensures that our future technologies do not replicate or enhance existing social biases or inequalities, but benefit everyone.

The Inclusive AI Talent Fair strives to bridge the gap between under-represented tech talent and companies looking to increase their team's diversity, representation, and inclusivity.

Any and all candidates from all backgrounds are welcome to join us for the Talent Fair, as long as you share the mission of supporting the tech and innovations sectors in becoming more inclusive. During the evening, you can expect to:

• Meet vetted companies striving to enhance diversity and inclusivity in the sector and within their own industries and organizations by creating more diverse teams;
• Explore open roles and job opportunities for tech candidates like you from local employers that are committed to supporting under-represented groups with equal growth opportunities and fair and equal pay;
• Connect with fellow industry professionals that share the vision for a more inclusive tech industry in the Netherlands;
• Network broadly with impact-driven communities within the Dutch AI & HPC ecosystem after the event at our networking drinks & bites;
• Ability to opt-in to sending your contact information and CV to companies after the event.

All companies that share our vision and are hiring for tech candidates are welcome to join us for the evening and pitch yourself and your open roles to impact-driven tech candidates from diverse backgrounds. Your ticket includes:

• 5-minute pitch to explain what you do and what roles you're hiring for;
• Table at the general floor of the Career Fair to meet with candidates;
• Up to 4 tickets for your representatives to attend;
• Contact information and CVs of interested candidates after the event.

Hyperion Lab is the place to solve the world's complex problems with AI & HPC. Powered by NVIDIA and EscherCloud, the lab supports promising AI and HPC startups in scaling, and showcases their technologies in Amsterdam Southeast to highlight the latest technologies across industries. By scoping within key, impact-driven themes, the Hyperion Lab strives to implement AI solutions that benefit and inspire as many people and organizations as possible by providing a creative space for AI collaboration, testing, training and more.

Women in AI is a nonprofit global do-tank on a mission to increase female representation and participation in AI. The Dutch chapter was launched in October 2018, and organizes educational events and programs, conducts research, and works with corporate and startup ecosystems to build an unbiased and fair future.
