Join Duluth Parks & Recreation and the Duluth Preservation Alliance for a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to commemorate the Incline Stairway Trail.
The stairway once served as part of the Incline Railway, which provided transport from downtown Duluth up the hillside from 1891 - 1939. Come celebrate the installation of interpretive signage and the new historical designation of the site. Look forward to remarks from community partners and City and Parks staff.
Stick around after the ceremony for an interpretive hike down and up the steps with Duluth Parks & Recreation and Duluth Foot Trails Alliance. A shuttle will be available for those who want a ride back to the top. The hike is free and you can register here: bit.ly/45LY7z7
