About this Event

[EN]

Two musicians, two tree resins and a concert that reaches beyond the ears. Mia Bodet (violin, piano, voice) and Emilia Viktoria Janeil Lomakova (cello, piano, voice) play improvised and composed music while the scents of pine and spruce fill the room. The music and the burning resins share the space throughout the performance.

Bodet works across performance, theatre and film, and has played with Berlin ensembles and opera projects. Lomakova, born in Odesa, is a multi-instrumentalist and composer. The cello and piano are among her ways of telling a story. Their duo joins the “Incense of Music” series, in which music and scent are presented together. The evening is not recommended for people who are sensitive to smoke.
