Founded by Sheesh Management’s Perry Avgerinos and Noah Schwartz, Wahoo promises to deliver more than just a day of performances; it’s a celebration of community and purpose. The festival was born out of Schwartz’s own story: a cancer survivor whose experience shaped Wahoo’s mission.
“Wahoo is more than just a festival – it’s about connection, discovery, and giving back,” Schwartz said. “We want to create an event that artists are excited to play and fans are excited to return to year after year.”
From its inception, Wahoo was designed to merge live entertainment with a greater purpose, channeling a portion of net proceeds and attention toward cancer research. The founders envision it becoming an annual event that strengthens Palm Beach County’s music scene, while spotlighting new artists. “Through our experience managing touring musicians, we’ve seen firsthand how challenging and costly it can be for artists to engage with their fans in Florida,” Avgerinos explained. “Wahoo aims to give artists an opportunity to reach more of their Florida-based fans.”
