Join the Naomi H. Truman Scholarship Foundation for our inaugural Scholars’ Legacy Gala on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in Birmingham, Alabama—an elegant evening uniting community leaders, corporate partners, and advocates for education. This signature event will raise critical funds to support students pursuing higher education despite financial barriers.
Why It Matters
Founded in 2012 by the late Naomi H. Truman, the Foundation has awarded over $400,000 in scholarships to students living in public housing or participating in the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Program. Our scholars attend accredited colleges, universities, and trade programs across the region. Ms. Truman believed education changes lives. This gala honors her legacy while expanding access to opportunity for the next generation.
Tax Deductibility: The Naomi H. Truman Scholarship is a 501(c)(3) organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Tickets include dinner, entertainment, access to the silent auction, and a gift bag.
