Inaugural Jewell Pitts Memorial Pickleball Classic

The City of Montgomery Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with Board Member Darlene Skier and District 9 Councilman Charles Jinwright, will host the Inaugural Jewell Pitts Memorial Pickleball Classic on August 7–8 at Dean Fain Park (8700 Minnie Brown Road).
The round robin tournament will feature nine divisions in men’s, women’s, and mixed play, with beginner (2.5–3.0), intermediate (3.5–4.0), and advanced (4.5+) skill levels. Players may register for up to two categories. Registration is $50 per person, per category, and partners must register separately.
A total of $5,000 in prize money will be awarded across all advanced divisions, with additional prizes for winners and finalists in every category.
Event Schedule:
Mixed Doubles - Friday - (4PM to 9PM)
Women's and Men's Doubles - Saturday (8AM to 5PM)
