Inaugural Jewell Pitts Memorial Pickleball Classic
About this Event
The Inaugural Jewell Pitts Memorial Pickleball Classic is being held in loving remembrance of Jewell Pitts — a thoughtful, kind, and deeply dedicated member of our community. Jewell’s love for photography, her joy in playing pickleball, and her commitment to helping others were evident in all she did. She generously devoted her time to Dream Court and to the City of Montgomery Parks and Recreation Department, leaving a meaningful and lasting impact on those around her.
This event honors her legacy through a weekend of connection and respectful competition. The tournament will follow a Round Robin format and will offer nine divisions across men’s, women’s, and mixed play. Skill levels include:
- Beginner: 2.5–3.0
- Intermediate: 3.5–4.0
- Advanced: 4.5 and up
Participants and guests will also be able to enjoy food trucks, prizes, and raffles throughout the event.
Participants may register for up to two categories. Registration is $55 per person, per category, and partners require a separate ticket. Check‑in opens at 8 a.m., with matches beginning at 9 a.m. each day.Check‑in for both days begins at 8:00 a.m., and games will start at 9:00 a.m.
A total of $5,000 in prize money will be awarded across all advanced divisions, distributed among winners and finalists. Additional prizes will also be presented to winners and finalists in all other categories.
