If you’re a cooker or an eater, you won’t want to miss this!
The Entertainment Committee is firing up the
“Rub Your Chicken & Butt Competition”!
Plenty of backyard bragging rights and smack talk guaranteed.
Dinner Plates – $15
Includes BBQ, chicken, baked beans, slaw, dessert, and water.
Dinner served at 6:00 PM.
Bring your own beverage of choice (outside of water).
Non-live music will set the vibe for the night.
Come hungry & leave smokin’ happy!
Cooker Information...
Entry Fee:
Pork: $30 (Lodge provides butts, or you may supply your own at your expense. Cook as many as you like!)
Chicken: $20 (Thighs & legs only – cookers must supply their own meat.)
Rules & Setup:
Sign-up sheet is at the Lodge. Entry fee must be paid by October 7th to participate.

Gate opens Friday at 6:00 PM for setup.
Cooking may begin anytime after 12:01 AM Saturday.
Turn-in deadline: 5:00 PM Saturday. Judging and winners announced immediately after.
Eligible Cookers:
Must be an Elk member in good standing.
Teams may include non-Elks, but the entry must come from a member.
Outdoor cooking units only (grills, smokers, pellets, wood, Green Egg, etc.).
No crockpots, toaster ovens, or indoor cookers.
Awards:
Pork: 1st & 2nd place
Chicken: 1st place only
Proceeds benefit Local Veterans’ Charities!
This is an Elk Event – All non-members must be guests of a member.
