There was a bar that had a game and Bingo was its name-o. B-I-N-G-O... You know the rest, and you certainly know the game made famous in Catholic church basements and smoky bingo halls in throughout the American south and in Nevada, now it's coming straight to your favorite VFW.
In addition to our new pub quiz offering every-other-Sunday, we're now bringing you bingo on the alternating other-Sunday.
The same basic ideas as pub quiz will apply with this game. We'll help you chase away your Sunday scaries with some cheap drinks and good company.
We're gonna host this thing in-house and promise to keep it under two hours so that you can be on your way home around 9:00 in case you need to be a responsible adult on Monday morning.
Unlike other establishments that host a these kinds of events, we do not have food service, but you can bring in your own food if you wish. We don't offer table service, but breaks long enough for you to get drinks from the best bartenders in town will be plentiful.
And, as a reminder, this is only the first of what will become an every-other-week tradition, so watch Facebook for a recurring event soon.
About the VFW: Open to the public. Three pool tables, two dart boards, cheap drinks and great people. Plus, no-cover live music on Thursday and Friday nights and karaoke on Saturdays.
