About this Event
iNaturalist is a free community science app that helps people identify and document plants, animals, insects, fungi, and more. During this workshop, participants will learn how to use the app, understand the importance of community science data, and explore ways to get involved in local research efforts happening at Peck Park.
We’ll also share information about an upcoming habitat survey where community members can help document biodiversity in the San Gabriel Valley.
No experience is needed and everyone is welcome.
Spanish, Chinese, and Vietnamese interpretation available.
Participants will also have the chance to win raffle prizes including Natural History Museum admission tickets and Nature Explorer Kits.
