Overview
October brings our third monthly iNaturalist meetup, and this month we're headed to Hendrick Arnold Nature Park. It contains 74 acres of riparian woodland that fronts on the Medina River, one of the few remaining woodland creek properties in Bexar County.
Join us on Monday, October 5, from 9 to 11 am, at Hendrick Arnold Park organized by the CNC2027 team and bioblitz to lead by Nathan Wahler.
Event Schedule
We'll start with the latest news from iNat, then introduce this month's theme of Research Grade: what it is and how to obtain it.
After that, we'll hit the trails together, phones and cameras ready, to see what we can find and document along the way.
These iNat meetups are open to anyone, and no previous experience is needed.
What to Bring ● Comfortable outdoor clothing appropriate for the weather
● Water and sunscreen
● Smartphone with the iNaturalist app downloaded (or a camera)
