IN THE ROOM

‘In The Room’ is an interactive event hosted by The Healing Home Collective, created for those who desire a space to pause, reflect and explore the experiences that shape who we are.

Our desire is to create an environment, where people can come together to offload emotional weight, challenge unhealthy secrets and replace them with truth through open conversation and supportive community. This is not a lecture, it is a guided reflective experience.

Throughout the day we will explore topics such as:

• Emotional wounds: how life experiences shape our emotional development
• Changing the narrative: identity, self-perception and the power of neuroplasticity
• The nervous system: practical tools for stress management and emotional regulation
• Community and connection: the role of safe relationships in healing and growth

Through teaching, guided discussions and reflective activities, we aim to equip you with practical tools and meaningful insights that can support you as you begin or continue your personal and collective healing journey.

During In The Room, you will experience:

• Insights from guest speakers in psychology and related fields
• Practical tools for emotional awareness and nervous system regulation

More than anything, this gathering is about community - creating a space where people can learn, reflect and connect with others in healthy and meaningful ways.

You do not need prior knowledge of psychology or counselling to attend - simply an openness to reflect and engage.

We will also be joined by knowledgeable guest speakers, who will enrich the event by sharing professional and personal insights connected to emotional wellbeing, neuroscience and personal development.

All attendees of In The Room will receive a resource and goodie bag created by The Healing Home Collective, designed to support reflection and growth beyond the event itself.
