Event guidelines:

• All attendees are encouraged to wear a face mask at all times.
• Additional copies of the authors' books will be available for purchase at the event.
• A signing will follow the readings.
• Home address is collected for contact tracing purposes; it will not be used otherwise.
• As a reminder: If you are not feeling well, please do not come to the event, even if you have a ticket; email us and we'll work it out.

Matthew Burgess is a full-time professor at Brooklyn College and a part-time teaching artist in New York City public schools. Matthew is also the author of Enormous Smallness: A Story of E. E. Cummings, Drawing on Walls: A Story of Keith Haring, and Make Meatballs Sing: The Life & Art of Corita Kent. He lives with his husband in Brooklyn and Berlin.

Sarah Prager is the author of Kind Like Marsha: Learning from LGBTQ+ Leaders; Queer, There, and Everywhere: 23 People Who Changed the World; and Rainbow Revolutionaries: 50 LGBTQ+ People Who Made History. She came out as lesbian when she was fourteen and feels grateful for her extended LGBTQIA+ family and loves telling the stories of our shared history. She's written for the New York Times, National Geographic, The Atlantic, NBC News, and many other outlets about LGBTQIA+ topics.

Christian Trimmer is a children's book editor and writer, whose books include Teddy's Favorite Toy and Snow Pony and the Seven Miniature Ponies.
