As the Director of Photography for the expedition he was responsible for capturing the first images of the vessel, lost beneath Antarctic ice for over a century. In his role, he faced the unique challenges of filming in one of the most hostile and remote environments on Earth, using advanced technology to document the discovery. During this talk, James will will take us through his captivating footage capturing the essence of this historic expedition whilst sharing insights into the personal and logistical hurdles faced by the crew, as well as the technical and creative aspects of filming the expedition.
