In Praise of the Hand / Artistry and Design

In Praise of the Hand – Artistry & Design – is an event hosted by SWADOH at the Karen Pearse showroom 251 Fifth Avenue, 5th & 6th Floor, New York, NY 10016.

This distinctive gathering aims to illuminate our talented French creators and artisans by meeting them in person. Through their work, they ingeniously blend traditional and contemporary techniques to interpret materials and textures in captivating ways offering a fresh perspective on French craftsmanship.

Céline Wright (Artisan and Lighting Designer), Lucie Touré (Artist, Textile and Paper Designer), Emilie Grière (Artist and Soft Stone Artisan), Solenne Jolivet (Artisan and Textile Artist), and Morgane Baroghel-Crucq (Artist and Fiber Artisan) will have the pleasure of introducing you to their work in person and the multiple applications in the world of interior design, luxury products, and art.

This event promises to be a celebration of French craftsmanship and Savoir Faire!

SWADOH has the privilege of representing talented creators and engaging in collaboration with them, working at the intersection of artistic and artisanal savoir-faire by offering innovative creation and design solutions.

Through this event, attendees can expect to embark on a journey celebrating the universe of design and crafts created by hand, where innovation and tradition intertwine seamlessly, promising an immersive experience like no other.
May 17th and 18th at the Karen Pearse Showroom during Oui Design! 2024, set to take place from May 16th to 23rd during NYCxDesign festival.
