Day 1 is a basic Photoshop class. Using an image of your own, you will learn how to work with layers; how to resize images, use tools for blending, erasing, cutting, pasting, removing, and adding backgrounds; use healing brush tools, filters, advanced adjustments; loading specialized brushes, filters, grids, rulers, and more! Day 2 students will enlarge their image, print sections of it to piece together, and adhere to a canvas. Students will learn paint blending, color matching, and texturizing as they add paint, oil pastels to enhance and personalize their artwork. Some supplies are included. Students will need to bring an image of your choosing, must be high resolution (2 to 4 MB in size), your laptop (Windows or Mac) with Photoshop CS installed (Photoshop 2019 or newer), one canvas, size 20x30” to 24x48” (you have the option to repurpose a used canvas) and 16 oz Modge Podge, matte or glossy.
