Join us for 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐬 as we discover more about the pollinators that are active during the day and at night!𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟔𝐭𝐡

𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐬
We track our monarchs from egg to adult as part of a community science project, and we need your help! Survey milkweed stands looking for monarch eggs and caterpillars. Diet, life cycle, and their amazing migration will also be explored.

Moths outnumber butterflies ten to one. How are they different, and what can we find here at Kings Gap? Join presenter Ryan Bridge and Kings Gap staff for this Hybrid program. (𝐶𝑎𝑛'𝑡 𝑚𝑎𝑘𝑒 𝑖𝑡 𝑖𝑛 𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑜𝑛? 𝐽𝑜𝑖𝑛 𝑢𝑠 𝑜𝑛𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑒! 𝐷𝑒𝑡𝑎𝑖𝑙𝑠 𝑏𝑒𝑙𝑜𝑤.)
Bring a flashlight and dress for cooler temperatures. After the indoor program ends at 10:30PM, there will be a short break, and then we will survey the lights outside starting at 11:00PM.
𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐨𝐫 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐞! Both meet at the Education Building and are for adults and children 8 years and older. No registration required for attending in-person.
