In Person: Fall Fun and Hands-On Help

Who this In Person Event is for:

Ages  6-12. Adult caregivers are required to accompany child participants. Siblings of participants outside this age range are welcome but may find the event less meaningful and fulfilling.

What you’ll be doing:

Seeds of Caring is excited to partner with The Open Shelter to bring the fun of Fall into their space by decorating and assembling other treat bags for guests! Families will have the opportunity to explore Seeds of Caring's "Imagine If..." book, gaining empathy and compassion for our unhoused neighbors. We will hear from a speaker from The Open Shelter, tour the facility, decorate the shelter for fall, and get our helping hands busy with hands-on tasks that allow The Open Shelter to continue to support their guests.

All supplies will be provided. 

Why you'll be asked to pay a supply fee and donate:

On the next page you'll be asked to pay a fee to offset supply costs for this event. These fees are non-refundable. If you have to cancel your registration later, please know that your fee will go toward our efforts to create more meaningful service-focused programs for kids.

Every time we're able to design, coordinate, and offer an opportunity for kids to give back, it's with the help of supporters like you. Please consider making a generous gift to help us continue to empower kids to create a kinder community with their hearts, hands, and minds. 

We never want supply fees to prevent someone from participating in a Seeds of Caring project. If you would like assistance covering your supply fees, please email [email protected] and we will register you for free, no questions asked.
